Dr. Lance Pietropola
Dr. Lance Pietropola and his wife Lindsay grew up locally and graduated from Northern York High School in Dillsburg, PA. They currently reside in York County with their two children. Dr. P, as he is warmly referred to, graduated from University of Maryland Dental School in 2004 and subsequently served as chief resident at the Baltimore VA Dental Clinic. Dr. P purchased the practice of retiring dentist Dr. Barry Shapiro in 2012.
Prior to reestablishing his York roots, he worked in private practice in Lancaster and Harrisburg while also serving the dental needs of veterans at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. As a dedicated provider and advocate of continuing education, he achieved his Fellowship in the Academy of Dentistry which requires 500 hours of post-dental school advanced study as well as comprehensive examination. He brings with him a full understanding of the latest techniques dentistry has to offer.
Aside from dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading books, cheering for his favorite sports teams (Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers), and painting/drawing. We are sure that you will find him to be very gentle, knowledgeable and personable.
